Overview: 9 Days Uganda Primates & Wildlife Tour (Johannesburg to Entebbe)
This nine-day Uganda primates and wildlife tour is designed for travelers flying from Johannesburg to Entebbe who want a complete, well-paced safari that combines Uganda’s most iconic primate experiences with classic savannah wildlife viewing. The journey moves deliberately through contrasting ecosystems, from tropical rainforests alive with chimpanzee calls to vast open plains where elephants, lions, and buffalo roam freely. Each destination is given enough time to be fully experienced rather than rushed, allowing the safari to unfold as a story rather than a checklist.
The itinerary balances physical activity with comfort, ensuring that primate treks, game drives, and boat safaris are complemented by scenic transfers, quality lodges, and moments of rest. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest forms the emotional core of the journey, while Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kibale Forest add diversity and rhythm. This safari is ideal for travelers who want to remember moments rather than miles, and who value depth, atmosphere, and lasting connection to Uganda’s wilderness.
