Overview: 7 Days Uganda Gorilla & Chimps Tour (Johannesburg to Entebbe)

This seven-day Uganda gorilla and chimpanzee tour is designed for travelers flying from Johannesburg to Entebbe who want a focused primate safari without unnecessary extensions or rushed transitions. The journey connects Uganda’s two most important primate habitats—Kibale Forest and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest—creating a clear narrative from lively, vocal chimpanzee communities to the quiet, powerful presence of mountain gorillas. The itinerary is structured to balance trekking activity with recovery time, ensuring each encounter is approached with energy and clarity.

By limiting the number of destinations, the safari maintains depth and continuity while still offering varied landscapes, from rolling countryside and tea plantations to dense rainforest highlands. Carefully selected lodges close to the parks reduce travel fatigue and enhance immersion. This tour is ideal for travelers who value meaningful wildlife encounters, thoughtful pacing, and the kind of moments that remain vividly remembered long after returning home.
